Just published in September this year, Gardening Nude is a common-sense guide and motivational self-help book that teaches readers how to achieve greener and healthier living. Readers are urged to follow a three- part system which includes a Health Plan, Greening & Conservation Guide, and Building a Green Community Plan. Coronado’s message: it is a snap to get mentally and physically healthy when you live a greener lifestyle. “The term, ‘gardening nude,’ is a metaphoric expression which means to strip away the negative excuses and feelings, get off your fanny, and get out into nature to better improve your health and lifestyle,” says Coronado. “It’s all about living life happy and to the fullest.” Coronado’s regular newspaper column, “The Casual Gardener,” appears in several suburban newspapers, including The Warrenville Sentinel and The Winfield Register. The America in Bloom Warrenville initiative is planting pride in community through volunteer participation in beautification as well as environmental and lifestyle enhancements, seminars and education.
